The book, which contains about 200
pages, chronicles the day-to-day running of the school from
the day it was opened to the present day.
It contains archive photos of all the
previous headteachers, groups of staff and pupils and
numerous other scenes of nostalgia.
There are also some nostalgic stories
of bygone schooldays which, thanks to this wonderful book,
will never be forgotten. Extracts
from the school's log book serve to illustrate how the
education of our young people has progressed from the
Victorian era, through the dark days of World War 2, on
through the 'Swinging 60s' right up to the present. It also
highlights some of the more memorable traditions which have
now been lost.
