I started teaching in Largs Academy in 1974. After having children Derek (1978) and Debbie (1981) I came back to Largs Academy in 1984, did supply in St. Michael's Academy then moved to Ardrossan Academy. I got a permanent job share in Ravenspark Academy then was transferred to Ardrossan Academy circa 1989.
I have been here ever since for my sins! I have been working with Active Schools since 2001 - part time at first then full time. I have been full time with Active Schools since about 2007. I know I will miss it, especially working with senior pupil sports volunteers who have been fantastic. Many of them still come back to volunteer when they leave school.
